$65.00 | 3 hrs

Looking for a relaxing new way to spruce up your home decor?

Join us for a relaxing evening of communal embroidery with friends as we introduce you to the Japanese art of Sashiko.

This beautiful japanese hand embroidery technique is both simple and sophistocated. Using big stitches of white thread on blue fabric to form geometric patterns and texture, Sashiko is a stylish, minimalist sewing trend that is perfect for contemporary homedecor. Make a simple panel to turn into a bag, coasters, wall hanging, cushion, framed art, placemat, and more. Once you learn the technique you can even get creative mending your jeans!

In this workshop we will make coaster size samplers you can turn into coasters, greeting cards, or simple framed art.

Sashiko kit with pre-printed fabric and all other materials included.
Absolutely no experience required!

We provide water and sodas, cheese and crackers. You are welcome to bring your own adult beverages and your own additional snacks.
