Why Sew With Us?
For starters…we have just as much fun teaching sewing as our students have learning it! We love sharing our craft in interesting new ways while giving our students a solid skills foundation to become confident designers themselves. Our projects are modern, thoughtful, inventive, and bold. Our program is intentional, tested, and constantly evolving to meet the goals and interests of our sewing community.
WE BELIEVE CHILDREN LEARN BETTER BY DOING SOMETHING THEY ARE INVESTED IN, AND GROW STRONGER BY TAKING PRIDE IN THEIR WORK.
At the heart of it…we believe children (and everyone else) learn better by doing something they are invested in, and grow stronger by taking pride in their work. The goal of our project based curriculum is to keep students engaged in a process that challenges their thinking and includes their interests.
With that philosophy in mind we developed a program that strikes a balance between challenge and fun. We figure if our students are into WHAT they are creating the learning just kind of happens. At the same time we provide age appropriate yet sophisticated projects, premium materials, and proper instruction….meaning real scissors, real needles, real adult sewing machines, and real methods. All that adds up to REAL empowerment.
SEWING FOUNDATIONS | KIDS (AGE 6-10)
Perfect for beginners and improvers ages 6-10 who are excited to get creative with their sewing skills. Stuffed animals, toys, bags, applique pillows, simple garments, fashion accessories, quilting, embroidery, and more. You'll be amazed at what your child can do! In our Sewing Foundations program children learn to properly and safely hand and machine sew while designing and making items they enjoy.
FASHION STUDIO | TWEENS + TEENS
Fashion Studio for beginner to advanced tweens and teens age 11-17 emphasizes garment sewing fundamentals while encouraging creative risk taking in a fun, laid-back environment. Students learn professional industry techniques on professional equipment right from the start. Our three level approach allows us to meet students where they're at and help them grow from there encouraging self expression along-side skill building.
Whether you are just learning, wanting to refresh your memory, or looking to take your skills to the next level we can help you reach your sewing goals starting with a solid foundation! Our beginner sewing bootcamps are designed to pack a lot of information and practice into a short 15 hours so you can get the most value for your time and money. And if you don’t see what your’re looking for we can probably make it happen, Just ask! We are always developing classes and welcome new ideas.
Is your school or program looking for interesting ways to make learning hands on? We LOVE to get creative and can tailor a class or workshop to augment a school project, theme, or curriculum. We travel to schools bringing our machines, tools, fabrics, curriculum, and experienced teachers for a fun and different enrichment experience. Students from pre-school to high school love our project based classes because our tested and well planned curriculum gets students right into sewing and we build skills as we go.

Throw a memorable birthday party for your child that's SEW much fun! We’ll teach everyone how to safely & correctly operate a sewing machine to create their very own adorable projects. There is absolutely no sewing experience necessary! Ditch the goody bag...everyone goes home with a finished project.
Everyone loves a good Sip-n-Sew...Adult parties are perfect for birthdays, bridal showers, bachelorette parties, client entertainment, alumni functions, charity events, or just a good excuse for Girls Night Out. Everyone leaves with a finished project to covet!
